Hi guys I'm starting to take the front timing cover off on a TR4 engine and notice a metal key in the crank for the pulley. It looks like it should come out as it will score the seal on the cover if

It's just a press fit, although it can be rather tough to get out. It's semicircular on the backside. Easiest is to put a flathead screwdriver blade under the leading edge and try to lift it out. You
