Although I am not familiar with the PA it seems to me that you could use grade 8 hardware of the same profile that you have. Possible you have grade 2 or 4 installed now. Grade eight is very strong.

I think that if you look real close that some of it may still be there. OOPS sorry it's just MG -TA dirt. But the good thing is that the hole did not get any bigger and it never showed signs of rust.
