It might pay to contact Peter Thornley. He has an M type and has had it for
many-many moons. He is in the Atlanta area (Georgia).

Subject: M-portant info wanted!
Hi guys,
I asked Bob Z. the question as to engine color for the M-type. He sent a
photo of his, showing what appears to be the early Ford blue on his engine.
Do you guys with M experience concur that the M engines were all the Ford
(like the early Mustang engine) light blue??
Were any other colors used on that engine? I have looked at my info, and
think that they may have been all blue. But no certainty!
Info appreciated!
Best,
Ray
