I can think of two things to check. The first is very common on TR6's. There are two restrictors in the fuel tank vent line. One is in the line wihthin six inches of the charcoal canister, the other

My Spit had this problem once, I would drive down the road, and as soon as the fuel lines got warm, the car would stall. It turned out that when I changed the fuel filter, I put a half twist in them.
