Gary, I still expect that tuning is the answer, not replacement. Fords and Chevy's both have pistons going up and down and drawing the air/fuel mix in - there should not be any significant difference

Had the same problem, WD-40 sprayed through the slit near the solenoid handled it. Also works on door locks, ignition switches, keyways, electrical connectors and much more...try it! == Just a note h
