Well, I thought it was pretty good. They presented a pretty balanced view,
I thought, but there should have been more footage of B's at wide-open
throttle. :)
Also, I was surprised that there was not one mention of the passive safety
aspects of the SV-1. They called it an engineering failure a few times, but
the strength and passenger protection of the frame is a colossal success,
I'd say.
I also think it would have made sense to compare the budget and development
time of the SV-1 to typical values from the Big Three then and now. I do
think that despite the shortcomings of the car and the business plan, what
Bricklin did was an incredible accomplishment.
Despite the labor probs they had, though, Tanner should think a bit harder
before opening his mouth about Canadian vs. American work ethic. I get the
impression that he likes being a bit contentious or whatever, but that was
just really, really ignorant. :P
Good watch overall, though.
