A 2-part epoxy shop floor paint is the only permanent solution. The
floor has to be acid-washed first. If the coating doesn't come in 2 
parts, it's not an epoxy. The fumes are also pretty noxious. A friend
did this in the garage at his house. The only thing I don't like about
it is that it does get slippery when oily. Otherwise, it's the best.
