I'm glad that someone out there is able to see F1... Speedvision/Fox Sports
Net or whatever is unavailable in my area (Cedarburg, WI). Haven't seen one
race yet this year.
Ironically, Time Warner provides cable service to Milwaukee and Cedarburg
(18 mi. north of Milwaukee), but it only shows the F1 races in Milwaukee!
What's the deal with that?
A phone call (22 min. on hold) yielded the explanation that market strategy
hasn't been fully developed for all subsidiary cable systems, and a review
of future needs in various areas will be conducted next year.
Yeah, right. I should have asked her if she knew what 'cold turkey'
withdrawal was really like...
Still jilted in WI,
GS

Subject: Re: Grand Prix
Good morning, to all of those who contacted me regarding TV coverage of
the Brazilian Grand Prix--thanks for your help and information. I am
from the Seattle area. Our TV guide said one thing, the sports section
of the newspaper said another, and the Fox Northwest web site did not
even have it listed on their TV programing guide instead listing an
"infomercial" at the time when the Grand Prix coverage actually
occurred. GO FIGURE! I thought perhaps Bernie had pulled the plug on
FOX like he did last year (with no warning) on ESPN 2. Anyway, it was
on here, and I enjoyed it. I am not Brazilian but I was sure cheering
for Rubins! Dick
