   Well, somewhere in my pile of stuff, I have a page or two detailing the
official modifications for adding a tow hitch to the Giulia Super.  No mention
of needing a bigger engine or cooling mods, though I suspect that clutches may
not last all that long, and you'd probably want heavier rear springs, but not
air shocks, since the upper shock mounts won't stand much abuse.   As for the
station wagon/panel wagon.... I'd be glad to trade a pretty nice running Super
for one in almost any condition.... any takers?... then I could work on the
sports racer end. <g>

Tow car:  From the '60s either a Giulia Station Wagon (or estate- whatever you
call them at your home), or one of the Alfa vans.  Both modified to handle the
extra load: bigger engine, cooling pack, etc...
