The G-analyzer sounds interesting. I've often thought that by
correlating G and RPM, down a long enough straight you should be able to
replicate some of the usefulness of a dyno without the inconvenience of
having to tear out the engine and cart it to a dyno shop.
I hear tell there used to be a chap with a dyno on the back of a truck,
used to turn up at west coast race meetings. Sounds like a winner to
me, wonder what happened to him.
