Keith -

As I recall, the horn doesn't care.

You probably know this but NG is fused power and (as is usual for brown
wires) always hot even with ignition off.  NB is the ground provided when
the horn button is depressed.

A black tracer generally indicates a switched ground (e.g. the wiper
motor's GB wire).
