If your manifold is flat then no sealer should be necessary. Take a straight
edge and put it on the mating surface at a number of places and angles. If
theres high spots you should get a machinist to take them down if you don't
want to grind them yourself.

  Hi All:

Is it advisable to coat the manifold gasket with gasket cement/sealer before
installation?
  If so, any recommendations?

  Thanks,
  Tom
