I would seriously consider not gluing anything to the floor boards or place it 
could get water below.  Why not try some strips of velcro?

Remember, moisture in an LBC's biggest enemy!!

p.s. I plan on installing some HVAC insulation I picked up in a roll at Lowes, 
only about $10, should do a good portion of the car.

p.s you cannot avoid moisture, only way to preserve floors is removable rugs & 
soundproofing.
