The rubber boots are the same on 3As (earlier cars had a longer boot in
front), and all the repro boots have places for 3 wires.

Even though it's not shown on the schematic I sent you (S-T seems to've
always been pretty casual about ground wires), I believe the original
front lamps on a 3A had ground wires, that ran in a bundle with the
other two wires up to the area just behind the horns.  There was a sheet
metal screw and a double clip, that held the ground wires for the
headlights and front turn/parking lamps.

I believe US cars had clear front turn/park lamps.  Some other countries
(UK ?) used amber, I don't believe red was used in any market.
