Yeah, well Webster doesn't know.  In his book "The Sports Car, Its Design 
and Performance", Colin Campbell M.Sc., C.Eng., M.I.Mech.E. (a lot of 
letters!), published by Robert bentley, 1978, spells it CASTOR. :-)
