Well if you're interested in what altitude a head can go, try to figure how
this looked. At a tractor pull around '81, a guy in the super stock class,
running an IH tractor with six stage turbocharging (if you don't know, ask
me) and about 200 pounds of boost (that is not a typo), not only lifted the
head but dropped the crank at about mid track. I'm not exactly sure WHERE
that head eventually landed. A picture made it in a magazine called pulling
power. So if you get the urge to experiment with a turbo on your LBC, please
let me know. I've got a good camera and plenty of film.
