Phil,
> trigger-like clutch.
I recently let a couple of non-Triumph friends drive my TR-6. They both
mentioned that the clutch engagement seemed VERY sudden. There isn't
anything wrong it, it's just like my previous TR-6 and TR-250, plus I
replaced the clutch last winter so I know there are no problems. It's just
the way our cars are. We get used to it, and stop noticing.
They also mentioned high effort in the clutch, brake, and shifter. Come on,
this isn't some Miata. This is a MAN'S car ;^)
Of course, Kevin Riggs may be right about the mechanical problems, but
having not driven the car for 14 years it may be a matter of degree. You
can be the judge of whether your symptom is a malfunction or just
"character".
