Advice on Pulling Engine

Hi:

I am restoring a Tiger II and would like to pull the engine. It has been
suggested to me that I lift the body off the engine rather than lift he
engine out. Anyone have experience doing this? Any recommendations /
cautions? If I were to pull the engine, where is the best location to fix
the engine lift?
