Hi Jim,
That's what one of my daughters did. However, I am in the Amazon 'Vine'
program and the most expensive thing I've had on the scheme was a Microsoft
SurfacePro laptop which is now predominantly my wife's (her old base unit
wasn't powerful enough to run W11 and was on W10) as of about a month ago.
So despite not having to spend any money and not having any money to spend
on IT stuff, she would like to use Word occasionally and has a very nice
laptop to run it on. My older daughter had thought of a new place she
might have put MY family edition 64bit disc and when I get that I'll try
again + all the stuff Ron suggested. If only ladies coats were IT software
and hardware is one of my occasional thoughts.
Regards
Daniel
