I lived in England during the latter half of the 1960s......
Carroll O'Connor was a middling substitue for Alf Garnet at best.. The Brit
show was
way better IMHO... Steptoe & Son was WAY better than Sanford & Son.....
I would love to find a few DVD episodes of "Never mind the quality, feel the
width".
I saw a few episodes of Top Gear which were mildly interesting and then it
went
south. The USA version and its other various clones stink - as does most of
the
rest of the SPEED programming except the live racing and it being a source
for
F-1.
Dumb, Dumber & Dumbest. I'd rather watch paint dry.
