I had the conversion kit, but the distributor itself was wobbly. Ran that
for about 2 years before replacing the whole distributor. Conversion kit is
about $100, complete new distributor is $150.
Only thing is the new distributor doesn't have the mechanical tach cable.

Spitted ones,
After chasing an intermittent miss, I am considering buying a Pertronix.
Before I buy one, I have some questions.
1. Anyone used one on their Spit? My experience with one on the Stag wasn't
good.
2. I have an early MK IV 1300 engine, with no advance/retard, anyone know
which
is the correct unit for this engine? Not sure which distributor I have.
Thanks,
Doug
