I've had one in my '74 Spit for 8 years with no issues. Sorry, can't help
you with which version you need.

I have a Pertronix in my 1980 1500. Works great, never a problem. The VB
catalog, page 137, shows several models for Spits from 1966 through 1980.

Spitted ones,
After chasing an intermittent miss, I am considering buying a Pertronix.
Before I buy one, I have some questions.
1. Anyone used one on their Spit? My experience with one on the Stag wasn't
good.
2. I have an early MK IV 1300 engine, with no advance/retard, anyone know
which
is the correct unit for this engine? Not sure which distributor I have.
Thanks,
Doug
