Unless BMW has their heads completely up their arses, a new Triumph would
not compete with the Z and M series, but the lucrative low-end roadster
market up to this year owned wholly by the Mazda Miata.
Toyota recently dipped their feet into this area with the MR2 Spyder, and
other manufacturers have concept cars designed to retail for under
US$25,000.
