I've had both types and I prefer the clickers. Sometimes you aren't in the
best position viewing wise to torque a bolt and see the gauge at the same
time. They are more prone to damage than the needle types, but heck, even
if they do get damaged, it then becomes the Monster Rachet Breaker Bar
instead of a torque wrench. :) A good reason to have both, in my opinion.
