RE: Which Spitfire Do You Love Best?

My vote goes for the '77 Spitfire 1500.  Why?

1. It was the model of my first new car (my 21st birthday present to
myself).
2. It had black trim where the '76 had chrome (not so flashy), but still had
chrome bumpers (might seem like a non-sequitur, but black plastic bumpers
melt from the heat of Monza exhausts!).
3. I like the more "modern" look of the 1500 vs. the earlier models.
