Spitfliers, Unfortunately I was unable to determine the (approximate) commission number where the US Spitfire 1500s began using the long frame (with rear overriders). It would appear to be near the beginning of the 1974 model year. The underwhelming number of responses (4) were in agreement with this. I did promise to summarize the data received: The early (& late) '74 had them. The early (2) '73s did not. Thanks to those who took the time to check. -- LBC'ing U, Bob (& Spitfires) |
