I'm trying to determine at what point the frame (chassis) on US spec
Spitfire 1500s changed. The later cars having the extended rear
frame. It appears to sometime during 1973-74. Anyone know the
exact date or commission number this took place?
If not, could anyone having a car made during these years send me
an email (off list) indicating "short frame" or "long frame" and
the comm. # / build date.
I'll summarize the findings and post them. I'm particularly
interested in cars between FM11329U and FM19842UO.
