I have gone to Sears with one of their "Saturday Only" sale
fliers in hand - and my work schedule in my other hand - and
explained that I am an ER nurse working a 12 hour shift on
Saturday thus cannot get to the store to buy a sale item.
They have sold me the item at the sale price when it wasn't
Saturday...
