The concensus is to go for the old Miller.  I figured it was worth it - just 
wanted to make sure no one came back with a report that that was a notorious or 
problem product.  Now I will need an auto darkening helmet too! 

Is the technology for these auto lenses pretty mature? I see some of the cheapo 
helmets for under $100 but I am thinking my eyes are worth investing in a name 
brand piece of gear like a Speedglas.
