Bleeding can be time consuming.
My son repeatedly pressed the pedal in, whereafter I opened the bleed valve=
=2E
The spring pressure of the clutch makes the slave piston move backwards inc=
luding pushing the liquid and air out of the bleed valve. After many times =
repeating this procedure, the system was fine.
Same procedure for refreshing the liquid every 2 years.
Cheers,
Hans

That's new to me. When doing it solo, I attach a tube to the bleed screw o=
n the slave cylinder, run it into a partially full catch basin and slowly p=
ump the clutch pedal until all the air is pumped out of the system, adding =
fluid as necessary to the master cylinder so it doesn't go dry. This has =
always worked for me.

Bleeding is a pain on the MGB, what usually works is to wedge the pedal ful=
ly down overnight then release it carefully - i.e. not with a bang - next m=

at the top of the pipe (on the MGB) then releasing the pedal next morning =
flushes it back into the reservoir.
