Ted,
The liquid in the bottle is nothing more exotic than white vinegar used
for cleaning the lens of the color tune. If I can find the direction
sheet that came with my color tune, I'll scan it for you. Basically,
you just tune the engine normally and then when it comes time to adjust
the mixture, you put the color tune in place of the spark plug in
cylinder 1, restart the engine and adjust the forward carb for a blue
flame front in cylinder 1. I usually adjust for being right on the
transition from orange to blue. The process is repeated with cylinder 4
for the rear carb and you are done.
