Hello group,
Thinking about tackling the long-overdue petrol tank repair -
usual story; perforation city, Arizona! So.....in the spirit of
attempting to do everything right, can anyone please shed any
light on the differences (if any) between American and Imperial
sheet metal thicknesses? Having a measuring gauge for each, the
differences appear to be considerable. BUT a chum who is
something in metal says that the innacurate manufacturing
tolerances will result in variations anyway. I know that Frost
in the UK sell sheet metal but just to add to the confusion their
thicknesses are metric. Any thoughts, please?
