You can change the old tunsten headlamps for 60 watt halogens for a
start. You can also run one 50-60 watt halogen fog OR driving lamp, but
not both on at the same time. Using relays instead of running the
headlamps through the dash and dim switches can improve the lamps
brightness without adding extra load to the dynamo. The relay's current
requirement would be very small when compared to the possible gain in
lamp brightness.
