I am considering the installation of a Lucas Sport Coil on my 1952 MGTD.
Has anyone tried this? If so what did you do about the spark gap? I have
Champion N 5 C plugs on the car.
What are you doing on timing? With better gasoline today, can you run more
advanced? What is the advance limit on timing via the static method? I am
running about 5 degrees advance static but am getting only 32 advance (using
one of the timing lights with a advance dial to check) at 5000 RPM.
Any comments would be appreciated.
