David, me thinks that you are way too concerned about this. I am slowly 
re-assembling NA0613 which was built on 31 Dec 1934.  It had an alloy body, a 
steel scuttle, steel wings and running board and alloy bonnet side 
panels...all these parts have been stripped of 3 layers of paint and primed 
now.  There is NO indication of catilytic corrosion anywhere.  If you were to 
store your restored car at the beach, I'd worry, if not, don't worry, be 
happy and get on with it!!!
