Tom, USFRA has ran karts based on their venues safety specifications, for
time only. We do not have a record category for these machines as they
would normally be timed on our 130 club course. I believe Dap was
mentioned in previous messages. They were timed
under the above application.
To set a Bonneville record you would be classified as a lakester and need to
meet all the safety specifications for that class. The smallest engine
class is 500 cc and under which is a 'K' class. The records for K/GL is
149+ mph and for K/FL is 157+ mph in the current book.
