In the early 70s when Bob Sharp opened his dealership and they were
vacating
their old race shop I got a call asking me if I wanted any of the
"junk"
that had been stripped off the race cars since it was going to the
dump.
Turned out to be several cartons of like new gages, switches, mirrors,
steering wheels, seats, carpeting, etc. Living in an apartment at the
time
and renting a small garage, I only had room for a few items. Still
kicking
myself about that decision.
