The guy at the NAPA store around the corner from me showed me a light 
bulb socket that I could use inside my corroded marker light.

I just broke off the corroded socket part, that was crimped on to the 
body of the marker light, and slipped this other in its place.  Fasten 
the ground, hook up the hot, and away we go - old light, new guts.
