That was me. In an off-list email, and more than half-jokingly at that. The
vehemence of his reply surprised me. Andrew, I love what you've done with
your car. I have followed and enjoyed the documentary as well. You should be
proud! Everyone on this list that has improved their roadster, should be
proud. Am I proud of my roadster? Hell yes! I have no less than three
photo's of my yellow beast in my office alone.
But, prima-donna's post does not surprise me. Your communication style, IMO,
does convey a bit of an "Air" about it that could be interpreted as
"braggish". Now, I have written some doozies! I get a good laugh a some of
the items I have written. In my own "Self deprecating" humor, I can take a
look in the mirror and say "man! are you full of it!" Instead of rushing to
defense, take a good "third party" look at your writings. Maybe, your
critics do you a favor.
