Hello,
On our truck we went to the local Firestone service center and had
them flush out the rad. They have some kind of machine that circulates a
'cleaning solution' thru the system to clean it.
Seems to work though. On our 73 Chevy Pickup it lowered the driving
temp quite a bit.

$I flushed the radiator out today but I think I could have done a better
job.
$I still have a heating issue. the thermostat is new and the caps seem to be
$good. the hoses are new also. im not really sure where to go from here. the
$radiator was rebuilt several years ago and looks good. any thoughts?
