ignition electrical questions for a 1600 early 67

  Hi,

it looks like I have everything hooked up for the ignition properly. I =
also installed a ballast resistor. the car will turn over but will not =
start. it does not appear to betting any spark. when I run a jumper from =
+ on the battery to the + on the coil it starts right up. any ideas?
