Like it or not, one thing that works is ; a small drop of superglue on
the finger. feel the threads with out the nut, get the Idea of how to
manuever, then glue the washer and nut to your finger tip. VERY LITTLE!
just enough to keep it from falling off. A dab will do ya!

I've done it. works for me! No skin loss either. However, I assume no
liability for the results of others .
