CSI is Customer Satisfaction Index. Call the dealership up and ask what theirs
is. They
will often have a different score for sales than for service so specify what
you're after.
Ask for the service department and get their CSI score. If it's lower than 90
they are
bad. 96 and above and they're pretty good. In-between and you may ask what
they are
doing to improve. The stores District Service Manager will also know the CSI
scores. It'
s likely that all the dealers in any given area will have the same District
Service
Manger, but the DSM's are always traveling from store to store and are not easy
to get
hold of directly. You will usually have to leave them a message and wait for
them to get
back to you. You can also call Nissan directly - most manufacturers have a
customer call
center of some sort and can either answer the question for you or direct you to
an answer.
Bottom line is that if the dealership is evasive about their score, or are
trying to tell
you that 90 is an "A" just like it was in school, find someplace else.

Good comments. What is CSI and how does one obtain it?
Thanks, Larry
