I got my Miata seats installed! It actually wasn't as difficult as I
expected and I didn't even whack the seat bottoms to make them fit
better. They probably do rub against the carpet, but since my carpet
is so shot I don't really care. Maybe I'll whack them a bit when I
replace the carpeting. See my car and the seats on my new-fangled
PhotoPoint album at http://albums.photopoint.com/j/MyAlbums?u=1565860

On that note, I have two original 1970 seats up for grabs. When I say
up for grabs, I mean you can come by and take them. If you're really
nice we'll set up a swap for some little trinket I need, like the side
badges (1600 and DATSUN emblems) or the passenger-side alternator mount
brackets.

The driver's seat is horribly torn and two of the studs are broken off
the tracks (one on each side). The passenger seat is in much better
shape (there is a moderate amount of rippage) and the tracks are fine.
Both have reasonably nice headrests.

I'm in Elk Grove, just south of Sacramento, CA. Let me know if you
want them and they're yours.
