Scarabs were made in the late 70s by Brian Morrow who owned Scarab. They
used pre 66 chevy small blocks to get around emissions and Borg Warner T10
trannies. The "list" price for the conversion was 8K and you supplied the
body.

0-60 was 6.2 and top speed was 130 and limited by the Datsun gearing.
