Marcus,
The rad in the GT6 is the absolut min size for the engine. If it is
partially blocked or even dammaged in anyway you will run hot. Also the
water jackets in the engine may be gummed up. (the only way I know to
fix this is to hot tank the block) Have the rad checked first, unless
you need a new core it is very cheap to have it cleaned and pressure
checked.
Just had one other thought. The thermostat sits higher than the rad so
it is eary to have an air bubble there. I usally jack up the front when
topping up the rad to help the air out of the system.
