Bob,

Double flares and bubble flares (as shown in your diagram)
are two different things.  A double flare is similar to a single
flare but with the lip doubled back.  More like this:

My lines had both double and bubble (sometime referred to as ISO)
flares.  I don't think single flares have been used for hydraulic lines
by auto makers in recent years.
