Hi,
I have recently rejoined the list after a 4 month hiatus while I got a
new job and tried to figure out how to get internet access.
The windshield on my MGB recently developed a large crack. Being the
MG nuts that my Dad and I are, we just happened to have a spare
windshield lying around. Getting the old frame out was no problem.
Getting the new one in was a different matter. We managed to get it
in, though, but there is no way we can replace the two bolts in the
middle on top of the dash. You can't even see the bolt holes unless
we wrap a piece of wire around that post that goes up to the rearview
mirror, and run it under the rubber seal out to the front of the car,
and my father stands on the front bumper and pulls real hard. We are
afraid to pull harder for fear of cracking the glass. Any ideas?
