I almost have the Land Rover completely packed.

Last weekend I gave it its yearly pre-Brit car meet cleaning. Its amazing
all the places hay and goat berrys get to. I lubed the front end and drive
shafts. Made a mental note to replace both U joints on the front drive shaft &
the front pinion seal before winter. I checked all the 90 weight resavours.
Adjusted brakes, chaged oil & filter, checked points, cap & rotor, flushed
the cooling system & added new anti freeze, checked battery & hydrolic
resavour. I got around to tightning downthe steering box.

The Land Rover always seems so much happier when I get it ready to go to Po
Portland.

Last night I filled one of the rear boxes with tools, spare radiator hoses
{the special formed ones that you can not get at a service station}, a
spare fuel pump {Never had any problems with the original, but it is a
good justification for owning a second pump}, added a spare cap, points &
rotor. The Front box has rope, oil, tow strap, jumper cables. I have been
filling the back of the LR with things I hope to peddle at the autojumble.
The sleeping bag and tent are already on the passanger side floor.

Tonight I will finsih packing. The LR comes to work with me in the morning
& after work I'm off.

I will link with the Northweat Land Rover club friday evening, camp with them
{Land Rover owners are too macho to sleep in a hotel when in official
LR business ;*)   }

I expect to motor to the track as part of the LR convoy, Park the car then
go checkout the TRs.

What am I taking to sell??? didn't think you would ask :^)
