Haha! I did that at Oscoda this past weekend!
I have this bad habit of having my head get messed up when conditions
change or something and I'm forced to drive a certain way. At Oscoda on
sat. afternoon, it rained. I was in a CP car on slicks.
So I leave from the start line, accelerate and shift to second, then start
braking nice and early for the turn off the straight. Except when I go to
brake, the car gets all quiet and I don't slow down much... Took me a
couple heartbeats to figure out what was going on... :-)
